Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen French fries
  • 1 small striploin steak
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Bake or air fry the French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3–4 minutes on each side (or to your preferred doneness). Remove from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the sliced onions. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and caramelized.
  4. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. In another pan, melt butter over low heat and cook eggs sunny-side-up to your liking.
  6. Place the fries on a plate, top with steak slices, caramelized onions, and sunny-side-up eggs.
