  • 4 smokey dogs
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • ½ cup pickle slices
  • Ketchup, to taste
  • Mustard, to taste


  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Place the hot dogs on the grill and cook, turning occasionally, until they are heated through and have grill marks, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. While the hot dogs are cooking, lightly toast the hot dog buns on the grill.
  4. Once the hot dogs are cooked, place them in the toasted buns.
  5. Top each hot dog with shredded lettuce, diced onions, tomato slices, and pickle slices.
  6. Squeeze ketchup and mustard over the top of each hot dog, to taste.
  7. Serve the Sizzling Sun Fun Buns hot off the grill and enjoy the perfect summer meal!
