Ingredients

  • Fresh Salmon
  • 2 lemons

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the salmon fillets by rinsing them under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Cut the lemons into thin slices.
  4. Take a baking dish or a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  5. Place the salmon fillets on the lined baking dish or sheet.
  6. Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the salmon, making sure to distribute it evenly.
  7. Lay the lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets, covering them with the lemon slices as much as possible.
  8. Take the second lemon and cut it into wedges. Squeeze the juice of these lemon wedges over the salmon as well.
  9. Once the salmon is covered with lemon slices and juice, place the baking dish or sheet in the preheated oven.
  10. Bake the salmon for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork.
  11. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a minute or two.
